Professor Margaret Yemisi Ojo is a distinguished academic in the field of Religious and Cultural Studies, currently serving as a Professor at Ekiti State University, Nigeria. Born in Agbado-Ekiti, in Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State. She has dedicated her career to exploring the intricate relationships between religion, culture, and society. Her academic journey began with her foundational education at Lower Emmanuel Primary School, Agbado-Ekiti and Aisegba Community Grammar School, between 1970 and 1981, culminating in higher education at various institutions, including Ondo State University and the University of Ado-Ekiti, where she obtained multiple degrees (1989-2006).

Professor Ojo’s academic tenure commenced in 2001 as an Assistant Lecturer, and she has steadily risen through the ranks to her current position as a professor since 2016.
