Adu, Funmilayo Modupe is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History and International Studies, Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. She is the current Acting Head of Department. She is a graduate of History from the University of Benin, Benin City. Adu has an MSc. and an M.I.R in International Relations from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and also a Ph. D. in International Relations from Ekiti State University. Adu has variedly researched into the environment of Migrations, Diaspora Studies, Race and Ethnicity, Conflicts, Gender, Politics, Indigenous Technology, Capacity Building, Sustainable Development and Political Thought. Her academic multi-disciplinary interest enlists her as an interesting researcher with interest in giving quality permanent positive impact to the life and career of her students. This she has proudly achieved and is still pushing forward after an over twenty years of teaching experience in the discipline of History and international Relations. She has a growing interest to contribute to solving African and specifically Nigerian development problems.
